The cornerstone of our business is to provide you with online access to hundreds of interesting, hand crafted items, made in small quantities by independent artists around the world. Most of our artists and associates live in economically poor countries in the third world, therefore by supporting us you are also supporting them. The items we offer in our store are special and uniquely different since most of them are directly related to a given tribal or native influence found in some other part of the world. Since you may or may not know anything about these cultures or traditions, we also provide you access to background reference stories, legends and photos related to many of the items in our store.
We currently offer about 1000 quality items from the tropical island of Bali. Bali is known as "the island of the gods" since the native people still practice the island's ancient tribal rituals and cultural ceremonies. Our items celebrate tribal arts and native arts from primitive Balinese, Hindu, Buddhist and spiritual mythology and legends as well as other eastern religions and beliefs. Most of these items are original art, sculpture and other handmade and hand crafted gifts, wood carvings, masks, puppets, collectibles, statues, figures, batik paintings and other handicrafts. However, we are also continually searching for new items to show you and in the future we will be offering interesting items from Thailand, Mexico, Africa, South Pacific, India and of course Canada.
With a frame enabled browser you can explore our entire online Art Gallery containing hundreds of tribal and native arts items with large photos, background legends, and artist profiles. However, Click Here if you simply want to look at a small sample of these items (without photos).
